How it works

1. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing Golgari Thug, adding .
2. When Golgari Thug dies, it, Pitiless Plunderer and Korvold's second ability trigger.
3. Resolve the Golgari Thug trigger, putting it on top of your library from your graveyard.
4. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
5. Resolve the Korvold trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and causing you to draw Golgari Thug from the top of your library.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Cast Golgari Thug by paying 1.
8. Repeat.
9. If desired, you may instead use Golgari Thug's dredge ability to return it to your hand to mill your library.

This loop transforms a simple sacrifice into a self-sustaining engine by turning every death into mana, card draw, and growth. When you feed Golgari Thug to Thermopod, Pitiless Plunderer steps in to provide the necessary mana through a generated Treasure token, while Korvold, Fae-Cursed King rewards the sacrifice by drawing you the very card you just put back on top of your library. Alternatively, you can swap the draw for Golgari Thug's dredge ability to mill your entire library into the graveyard while continuing the loop indefinitely.
