How it works

1. Activate any number of lands by tapping them, adding at least 3.
2. Activate Trenching Steed by sacrificing a land.
3. Repeat step 2 until you control no lands.
4. Activate Aftermath Analyst by paying 3 and sacrificing it, returning all lands from your graveyard to the battlefield untapped due to Spelunking.
5. When the lands enter, Emeria Shepherd triggers that many times.
6. Resolve an Emeria Shepherd trigger that was triggered by a Plains, returning Aftermath Analyst from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Resolve all other Emeria Shepherd triggers, returning any number of nonland permanents from your graveyard to either your hand or the battlefield.
8. Repeat.

This intricate loop relies on sacrificing your entire land base to Trenching Steed to fuel the mana and graveyard setup, letting Aftermath Analyst step in by sacrificing itself for `{3}{G}` to flood the battlefield with every land you just binned. Because Spelunking features a passive ability that makes all your lands enter untapped, that massive wave of land drops immediately triggers Emeria Shepherd multiple times. As those landfall triggers resolve, the ones keyed to your Plains allow you to bypass your hand and directly cheat Aftermath Analyst back onto the battlefield from your graveyard, while the rest pull every other nonland permanent you desire straight out of your graveyard.
