How it works

  1. Activate any number of lands by tapping them, adding at least 3G mana.
  2. Activate Troubled Healer by sacrificing a land.
  3. Repeat step 2 until you control no lands.
  4. Activate Aftermath Analyst by paying 3G mana and sacrificing it, returning all lands from your graveyard to the battlefield untapped due to Spelunking.
  5. When the lands enter, Emeria Shepherd triggers that many times.
  6. Resolve an Emeria Shepherd trigger that was triggered by a Plains, returning Aftermath Analyst from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  7. Resolve all other Emeria Shepherd triggers, returning any number of nonland permanents from your graveyard to either your hand or the battlefield.
  8. Repeat.

This loop transforms a graveyard full of resources into an endless cascade of value, anchored by Spelunking's static ability ensuring that all returning lands enter the battlefield untapped. You begin by cycling your lands away using Troubled Healer as a sacrificial outlet, dumping resources into the graveyard alongside Aftermath Analyst. Once your lands are binned, you activate Aftermath Analyst to haul them all right back out at once, triggering Emeria Shepherd's landfall ability for every single land that drops. Because those lands include Plains, Emeria Shepherd's replacement effect lets you resurrect Aftermath Analyst directly to the battlefield while harvesting the rest of your nonland permanents, setting you up to repeat the entire cycle indefinitely.
