How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Sister Hospitaller.
2. When Sister Hospitaller dies, Body Launderer's first ability triggers, causing Body Launderer to connive.
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
4. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Body Launderer.
5. When Body Launderer dies, its second ability triggers, returning Sister Hospitaller from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. When Sister Hospitaller enters, it triggers, returning Body Launderer from your graveyard to the battlefield and causing you to gain 4 life.
7. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
8. Repeat.

This elegant loop relies on an endless exchange of lives between Body Launderer and Sister Hospitaller, perfectly fueled by the sacrificial altar of Altar of Dementia. When you feed Sister Hospitaller to Altar of Dementia, Body Launderer's deathtouch and passive connive trigger while setting up the cycle, and sacrificing Body Launderer in turn lets its death trigger drag Sister Hospitaller right back out of the graveyard. That return immediately triggers Sister Hospitaller to resurrect Body Launderer in a seamless, mutually recycling cycle, cushioning your life total along the way.
