How it works

1. Activate Walking Ballista's second ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, putting two +1/+1 counters on it due to Vigor.
2. Activate Walking Ballista's second ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, dealing 2 damage to any target.
3. Repeat as desired.

This explosive combination transforms simple pings into an escalating engine of growth and destruction. By using Walking Ballista to deal damage to a target, Furnace of Rath steps in to double that output, ensuring the damage hits with twice the force. This doubled damage triggers Vigor's static replacement effect, which not only prevents the harm but converts it into a surplus of +1/+1 counters that feeds right back into Walking Ballista to sustain the loop.
