How it works

1. At the beginning of each opponent's upkeep, Assault Suit triggers, giving the opponent control of Nikya of the Old Ways until end of turn.
2. Because the opponent controls Nikya of the Old Ways, they cannot cast noncreature spells during their turn.
3. During the cleanup step, you regain control of Nikya of the Old Ways.

This clever lock exploits the ownership-shifting nature of Assault Suit to weaponize Nikya of the Old Ways against your opponents. While Nikya of the Old Ways normally restricts your own spellcasting with her static clause forbidding noncreature spells, handing her over during each opponent's upkeep forces *them* to live under that exact same restriction for their entire turn. Meanwhile, Assault Suit provides the necessary safety net by granting the equipped creature +2/+2, haste, and a vital clause stating it can't be sacrificed, ensuring your opponents are stuck with the burden rather than finding a way to discard or sacrifice her.
