How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Shepherd of the Cosmos.
2. When Shepherd of the Cosmos dies, Kaya's Ghostform triggers, returning Shepherd of the Cosmos from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Shepherd of the Cosmos enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Kaya's Ghostform from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Shepherd of the Cosmos.
4. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Bloodflow Connoisseur into a growing threat by feeding it an immortal avian champion. Each time you sacrifice Shepherd of the Cosmos to the Connoisseur, Kaya's Ghostform steps in to rescue the Shepherd from the graveyard. Because the Shepherd's own enter-the-battlefield ability grabs any permanent with a mana value of 2 or less, it immediately plucks Kaya's Ghostform right back out of the graveyard and attaches it to itself, resetting the entire engine for another iteration.
