How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Shepherd of the Cosmos.
2. When Shepherd of the Cosmos dies, Kaya's Ghostform triggers, returning Shepherd of the Cosmos from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Shepherd of the Cosmos enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Kaya's Ghostform from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Shepherd of the Cosmos.
4. Resolve the Phantom Train ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Repeat.

This looping sacrifice engine centers on Phantom Train as a reliable outlet to repeatedly bin your own creatures, growing it with a steady stream of +1/+1 counters in the process. The real magic happens because Kaya's Ghostform continuously catches Shepherd of the Cosmos as it dies, returning it straight to the battlefield. In turn, whenever Shepherd of the Cosmos enters the battlefield, its triggered ability reaches back into the graveyard to rescue Kaya's Ghostform and reattach it, setting the stage to do it all over again.
