How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Shepherd of the Cosmos.
2. When Shepherd of the Cosmos dies, Kaya's Ghostform triggers, returning Shepherd of the Cosmos from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Shepherd of the Cosmos enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Kaya's Ghostform from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Shepherd of the Cosmos.
4. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Shepherd of the Cosmos into an endless cycle of self-revival, fueled by the recursive protection of Kaya's Ghostform. When you sacrifice the Shepherd to Umbral Collar Zealot's ability, Kaya's Ghostform immediately triggers to bring it right back to the battlefield. Because the Shepherd's low mana value falls within the target range, its own entrance trigger conveniently retrieves Kaya's Ghostform from the graveyard and re-attaches it, setting the board up to repeat the entire process for endless surveil and sacrifice triggers.
