How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Shepherd of the Cosmos.
2. When Shepherd of the Cosmos dies, Necrogen Communion triggers, returning Shepherd of the Cosmos from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Shepherd of the Cosmos enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Necrogen Communion from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Shepherd of the Cosmos.
4. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability, dealing 1 damage to any target.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms a humble recursive engine into infinite damage using Goblin Bombardment as your lethal outlet. The magic relies on Necrogen Communion keeping Shepherd of the Cosmos locked in an immortal cycle: whenever the Shepherd is sacrificed, the Communion brings it straight back to the graveyard to trigger its own resurrection, while the Shepherd's own enter-the-battlefield ability simultaneously retrieves Necrogen Communion to the battlefield attached to it once more. Because the Shepherd's mana value is low enough to be targeted by its own ability, every iteration resets the entire loop seamlessly.
