How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Shepherd of the Cosmos.
2. When Shepherd of the Cosmos dies, Kaya's Ghostform triggers, returning Shepherd of the Cosmos from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Shepherd of the Cosmos enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Kaya's Ghostform from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Shepherd of the Cosmos.
4. Resolve the Woe Strider ability, causing you to scry 1.
5. Repeat.

This recursive loop turns Woe Strider into a self-sustaining sacrifice engine by taking advantage of Shepherd of the Cosmos and Kaya's Ghostform. Every time Woe Strider sacrifices the Shepherd, Kaya's Ghostform rescues it from the graveyard straight back to the battlefield. That triumphant return immediately triggers the Shepherd's ability to fish Kaya's Ghostform right back out of the yard and attach it to itself, resetting the entire puzzle piece by piece.
