How it works

1. Cast Volcano Hellion by paying 2.
2. Volcano Hellion enters the battlefield, dealing an arbitrarily large amount of damage to Spitemare and you.
3. Your life total does not change due to Platinum Emperion.
4. Spitemare triggers, dealing an arbitarily large amount of damage to target opponent.

This explosive loop relies on Platinum Emperion to completely insulate you from harm while Volcano Hellion enters the battlefield to kick off the chain reaction. By choosing to deal an arbitrarily large amount of damage to both yourself and Spitemare, the Hellion triggers Spitemare's damage-redirection ability without actually reducing your life total. Spitemare happily catches that immense blow and channels it straight into your opponent's face, securing a swift and decisive victory.
