How it works

  1. At the beginning of your precombat main phase, The Mirari Conjecture triggers, putting a lore counter on it, and then causing you to copy any instant or sorcery spell you cast this turn and sacrifice The Mirari Conjecture.
  2. Cast Flicker by paying 1W mana, targeting Bloodwater Entity.
  3. The Mirari Conjecture triggers, copying Flicker targeting Quintorius Kand.
  4. Resolve the copy of Flicker, blinking Quintorius Kand.
  5. Resolve the original Flicker, blinking Bloodwater Entity.
  6. When Bloodwater Entity enters the battlefield, its second ability triggers, putting Flicker on top of your library from your graveyard.
  7. Activate Quintorius Kand's second loyalty ability by removing three loyalty counters from it, causing you to exile Flicker from the top of your library and cast it without paying its mana cost, targeting Bloodwater Entity.
  8. Quintorius Kand and The Mirari Conjecture trigger.
  9. Resolve the Quintorius Kand trigger, dealing 2 damage to each opponent and causing you to gain 2 life.
  10. Resolve the The Mirari Conjecture trigger, copying Flicker targeting Quintorius Kand.
  11. Repeat from step 4.

This ingenious loop transforms a simple blink effect into a lethal engine by turning your graveyard into a recursive library deck. You start by using The Mirari Conjecture's third-chapter ability to copy your spells, allowing a single cast of Flicker to simultaneously reset Quintorius Kand and Bloodwater Entity. As Bloodwater Entity re-enters, its triggered ability recycles Flicker right back to the top of your library, where Quintorius Kand's "Discover 4" loyalty ability can immediately pluck it out of exile and cast it for free. Because that cast happens from exile, Quintorius Kand's passive trigger fires off repeatedly on every iteration, draining your opponents' life totals down to zero while you gain infinite life in the process.
