How it works

1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
2. Cast Sensei's Diving Top from the top of your library by paying 0 and removing a counter from a creature you control.
3. When Sensei's Divining Top enters the battlefield, Surge Conductor triggers, putting a counter on a creature you control that already has a counter on it.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns Sensei's Divining Top into a self-sustaining engine by letting you repeatedly cast it from the top of your library for free using Falco Spara, Pactweaver's alternative cost of removing a counter from a creature you control. As the Top enters, Surge Conductor's passive ability triggers to proliferate, replenishing that sacrificed counter so you can immediately do it all over again. Meanwhile, The Immortal Sun pulls double duty by making those Top recasts entirely free with its cost-reduction ability while you draw your deck to chase down a win.
