How it works

1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 0 and 2 life due to Defiler of Faith and The Immortal Sun.
2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
3. When the Soldier enters, Kambal triggers, causing you to gain life.
4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher. When it enters, it and Kambal trigger.
5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Resolve the Kambal trigger, causing you to gain life.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop hinges on a potent cost-reduction stacking effect: with The Immortal Sun lowering creature spells by {1} and Defiler of Faith letting you trade 2 life for a further {W} reduction, Kor Skyfisher can be cast entirely for free. Once the Skyfisher enters the battlefield, its mandatory self-bounce trigger forces you to return it right back to your hand, which simultaneously triggers the Defiler of Faith to forge a fresh 1/1 Soldier token. That new token arrival wakes up Kambal, Profiteering Mayor to drain your opponents while padding your life total to comfortably sustain the Defiler's life payments. By constantly bouncing and recasting the Kor Skyfisher, you generate an unstoppable engine of infinite creature entries, exits, tokens, and life drains.
