How it works

1. Cast Sensei's Divining Top by paying 0 due to The Immortal Sun.
2. When Sensei's Divining Top enters, Skyswimmer Koi triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Sensei's Divining Top by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
4. Resolve the Skyswimmer Koi trigger, causing you to draw Sensei's Divining Top from your library, and then discard a card other than Sensei's Divining Top.
5. Repeat

This clever loop transforms a humble top into an unstoppable card-filtering engine by leaning entirely on cost reduction and triggered abilities. With The Immortal Sun discounting your spells by {1}, Sensei's Divining Top becomes completely free to cast, letting you drop it onto the battlefield over and over again. As it enters, Skyswimmer Koi spots the new artifact and triggers its loot effect, allowing you to draw and discard. By responding to that trigger with the Top's own tapping ability—which draws you a card and tucks Sensei's Divining Top neatly back onto your library—you set up the Koi's trigger to draw the Top right back into your hand.
