How it works

1. Activate Necrotic Ooze using Kwain's ability by tapping it, allowing each player to draw a card and gain 1 life.
2. Necrotic Ooze triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
3. Activate Necrotic Ooze using Cinderhaze Wretch's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Necrotic Ooze into a one-man engine by absorbing the best traits of its graveyard-bound peers.
