How it works
- Activate Benthic Biomancer by paying 1, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
- Benthic Biomancer triggers, causing you to loot.
- Sheoldred triggers, causing you to gain at least 2 life.
- Benthic Biomancer triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on it.
- Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop spins up a self-sustaining engine of life and knowledge, anchored by Sheoldred, the Apocalypse to turn your card draws into a wellspring of life. Once you enchant Benthic Biomancer with Light of Promise, activating the Biomancer's adapt ability starts a cascading chain reaction: drawing a card triggers Sheoldred's life gain, which in turn feeds Light of Promise to place new +1/+1 counters back onto the Biomancer. Because those counters re-trigger the Biomancer's looting ability, you keep drawing cards and gaining life endlessly, allowing you to cycle through your deck while growing your creature to staggering heights.
