How it works
Activate Benthic Biomancer by paying 1, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
Benthic Biomancer triggers, causing you to loot.
Starving Revenant triggers, causing you to gain 1 life and target opponent to lose 1 life.
Benthic Biomancer triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
Repeat from step 2.
This enchanting loop relies on a clever synergy between life gain, counter generation, and card draw to drain your opponents dry. Once Light of Promise enchants Benthic Biomancer, activating the Biomancer's adapt ability starts a chain reaction: adding a +1/+1 counter triggers its looting ability, which fuels your graveyard for Starving Revenant's descend ability. As the Revenant drains your opponent and gains you life, Light of Promise steps in to place a fresh +1/+1 counter back onto Benthic Biomancer, continuously re-triggering the entire sequence.
