How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Light of Promise triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak.
3. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Social Climber triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms a simple instance of lifegain into an explosive chain reaction of growth and token generation. The engine is anchored by Light of Promise, which translates any initial life gain into a shower of +1/+1 counters on Scurry Oak. Every counter placed on Scurry Oak sparks its own ability to manufacture a 1/1 green Squirrel creature token, and the arrival of that new token immediately rouses Social Climber's *alliance* ability to grant you another point of life. That fresh increment of life loops right back into Light of Promise, creating a self-sustaining cycle that endlessly pumps your creature, multiplies your squirrels, and floods the board.
