How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Basking Broodscale triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
3. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Social Climber triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This delightful loop starts rolling the moment you manage to gain a point of life, which immediately fires off Light of Promise to place a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale. That influx of counters triggers Basking Broodscale's inherent ability to spawn a 0/1 Eldrazi token. As that token touches the battlefield, Social Climber notices the new arrival and grants you another increment of life, neatly looping the entire sequence right back into Light of Promise.
