How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Light of Promise triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Dazzling Angel triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This delightful loop transforms any initial burst of lifegain into a self-sustaining engine of growth and accumulation. It all hinges on Light of Promise turning any life you receive into +1/+1 counters for Herd Baloth. Every single one of those counters makes Herd Baloth trigger to spawn a 4/4 green Beast token, and each new token's arrival on the battlefield is immediately caught by Dazzling Angel to hand you back 1 life. That newly gained life feeds right back into Light of Promise, closing the loop and letting you grow an unstoppable army and an overwhelming amount of life.
