How it works

  1. Activate Breya by paying 2 and sacrificing two other artifacts, causing you to gain 5 life.
  2. Light of Promise triggers, putting five +1/+1 counters on Workhorse
  3. Animation Module triggers, holding priority, activate Workhorse three times by removing three +1/+1 counters from it, adding CCC.
  4. Resolve the Animation Module trigger, causing you to pay 1 to create two 1/1 Servo artifact creature tokens.
  5. Repeat.

This fascinating engine centers around Breya, Etherium Shaper, whose sacrifice ability fuels a cascading loop by providing both the life gain needed to kickstart Light of Promise and the fodder required to pay for her own activation. As Light of Promise pumps Workhorse with massive piles of +1/+1 counters, Animation Module stands ready to turn that growth into a steady stream of artifact tokens—a stream that Bard, King of Dale doubles instantly to ensure you always have enough material to keep feeding Breya's sacrifice cost. Meanwhile, you can strip those counters off Workhorse for raw colorless mana to pay for Animation Module's trigger, keeping the entire cycle self-sustaining while generating an overwhelming surplus of life, triggers, and resources.
