How it works

1. Gain life.
2. The creature with Light of Promise attached triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. Animation Module triggers, causing you to pay 1 to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token.
4. When the Servo enters, Guide of Souls triggers, causing you to gain life and get E
5. The creature with Light of Promise attached triggers. Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Servo, adding 1.
6. Resolve the trigger from the creature with Light of Promise attached, putting a +1/+1 counter on it
7. Repeat from step 3.

This ingenious loop spins up into infinity the moment a speck of life is gained, fueling the enchantment Light of Promise to start piling +1/+1 counters onto your chosen creature. Each counter deposited triggers Animation Module, whose paid ability creates a fresh 1/1 Servo artifact creature token that immediately drops onto the battlefield and calls upon Guide of Souls to grant you both a life and an energy counter ({E}). That new burst of lifegain loops right back into Light of Promise, while Phyrexian Altar stands ready to sacrifice the freshly minted Servo to generate the exact mana needed to pay for the Animation Module's trigger, keeping the whole engine perpetually turning.
