How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Light of Promise triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak.
3. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Auriok Champion triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This delightful loop starts with any initial instance of lifegain, which makes Light of Promise trigger and place a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak. That sudden growth immediately causes Scurry Oak's own triggered ability to spawn a 1/1 green Squirrel token. The arrival of that new token brings Auriok Champion into the fold, whose soul sister ability rewards the creature's entry by netting you 1 life—seamlessly looping right back into Light of Promise to keep the engine roaring forever.
