How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Basking Broodscale triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
3. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Prosperous Innkeeper triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This delightful loop uses Basking Broodscale as the engine of growth, supercharged by Light of Promise to turn any life gain into an immediate +1/+1 counter. That counter triggers Basking Broodscale's ability to manufacture a 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn token, which gracefully feeds into Prosperous Innkeeper.
