How it works

1. Gain life in any way.
2. Scurry Oak triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
3. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a creature token that enters the battlefield as an artifact due to Encroaching Mycosynth.
4. Leonin Elder triggers, causing you to gain life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This loop transforms a simple spark of life into an unstoppable cascade of growth by turning every permanent you control into a piece of the puzzle. With Encroaching Mycosynth actively rewriting the rules of the battlefield so that your permanents count as artifacts, every new creature token entering naturally triggers Leonin Elder to bump your life total up. That sudden life gain immediately empowers Light of Promise to drop a +1/+1 counter onto Scurry Oak, which in turn triggers Scurry Oak's own ability to birth a brand-new Squirrel token.
