How it works
- Gain life.
- Basking Broodscale triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
- Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
- When the creature token enters the battlefield, Angelic Chorus triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
- Repeat from step 2.
By enchanting Basking Broodscale with Light of Promise, you create a perpetual motion machine fueled by life itself. Any initial life gain triggers Light of Promise to place a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale, which in turn activates its triggered ability to spawn an Eldrazi Spawn token. As that token enters the battlefield, Angelic Chorus steps in to reward you with life equal to the token's toughness, immediately feeding back into Lightof Promise to restart the cycle for infinite life, mana, and counters.
