How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Basking Broodscale triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
3. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Lifecreed Duo triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This charming loop kicks off when you trigger Lifecreed Duo's entry ability to gain life, which immediately feeds Light of Promise to place a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale. That influx of counters awakens Basking Broodscale's second ability to manufacture an Eldrazi Spawn token, whose arrival back on the battlefield instantly restarts Lifecreed Duo's lifegain trigger. By cycling this chain, you generate an endless cascade of +1/+1 counters, life, and disposable tokens to fuel your strategy.
