How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Fathom Mage triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
3. Fathom Mage triggers, causing you to draw a card.
4. Horizon Chimera triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This delightful loop transforms a simple spark of life into an unstoppable engine, fueled entirely by the continuous synergy between Fathom Mage, Light of Promise, and Horizon Chimera. Once Light of Promise enchants Fathom Mage, any initial lifegain triggers the enchantment to place a +1/+1 counter on the Mage, which simultaneously provokes its own card-drawing ability. As that card is drawn, Horizon Chimera immediately steps in to restore your life total by 1, which in turn triggers Light of Promise all over again to keep the cycle spinning endlessly.
