How it works

  1. Declare Mobile Garrison and Najeela, if able, as attackers.
  2. Mobile Garrison triggers, as well as Najeela if it was declared an attacker.
  3. Resolve the Mobile Garrison trigger, untapping Jegantha.
  4. Resolve the Najeela trigger, if applicable, creating a 1/1 Warrior creature token that is tapped and attacking.
  5. Holding priority, activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding W manaU manaB manaR manaG mana that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
  6. Activate Najeela by paying W manaU manaB manaR manaG mana, untapping all attacking creatures, giving them trample, lifelink and haste, and gaining an additional combat phase after this one.
  7. Repeat each combat phase.

This clever combat loop turns a modest assault into an endless horde by leveraging Najeela, the Blade-Blossom alongside the specialized fixing of Jegantha, the Wellspring. As Mobile Garrison charges into battle, its attack trigger untaps Jegantha so that the elk's five-color mana ability can be activated to pay directly for Najeela's steep five-color activation cost. Because Jegantha's restriction only forbids spending its mana on generic costs, it conveniently covers the exact colored pips needed for Najeela's ability to grant extra combat phases and pump your attacking forces. Meanwhile, Mobile Garrison pitches in as a crewed artifact creature that can be easily manned by your growing army, ensuring the mechanical untap trigger fires reliably every single combat step.
