How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Jegantha, the Wellspring to generate the exact five-color mana required to fuel Horde of Notions, which can repeatedly pull Jegantha right back out of the graveyard for free. To keep the engine running, Ashnod's Altar steps in to sacrifice Jegantha and generate a surplus of colorless mana while setting up the next recursion. Meanwhile, Urabrask the Hidden ensures that Jegantha enters the battlefield with haste every single time, allowing it to tap for its mana ability immediately without waiting around.
