How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This delightful engine relies on Jegantha, the Wellspring to directly fund its own resurrection through Horde of Notions, since Jegantha's five-color tap ability produces the exact color requirements needed to activate the Horde. By feeding Jegantha to Carrion Feeder in between loops, you trigger endless deaths and leave behind a rapidly growing pile of +1/+1 counters on the Feeder. Meanwhile, Hammer of Purphoros sits quietly in play ensuring that every time Jegantha returns, it immediately re-enters the battlefield ready to tap again without losing a beat to summoning sickness.
