How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Horde of Notions as a reanimation engine, fueled entirely by the color-specialized mana generated from Jegantha, the Wellspring's tap ability. Because Jegantha's mana carries a strict restriction that it cannot pay generic costs, Horde of Notions's fully colored activation cost of {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} is the exact key needed to cast Jegantha straight back from the graveyard. To clear the board for the next iteration, Carrion Feeder acts as the sacrifice outlet, consuming Jegantha to put a +1/+1 counter on itself while feeding the recursion loop indefinitely alongside Dragonlord Kolaghan.
