How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This loop turns Jegantha, the Wellspring into a self-sustaining sacrifice engine by feeding its colored mana production directly into Horde of Notions, which capitalizes on the exact WUBRG cost required to replay our companion from the graveyard. To make the mathematics of the sacrifice work without generic mana restrictions getting in the way, Phantom Train provides a sacrifice outlet that simultaneously accepts Jegantha and buffs itself with +1/+1 counters. Though Dragonlord Kolaghan is part of the machinery, the core engine effortlessly spins through the graveyard and battlefield to generate an infinite storm count and endless sacrifice triggers.
