How it works
- Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.

This clever loop turns the strict color constraints of Jegantha, the Wellspring into an infinite engine by cycling the legendary Elk through the graveyard and back. By tapping Jegantha for its five-color mana and then sacrificing it to Ashnod's Altar, you generate the exact colored mana needed to fuel Horde of Notions' ability while netting two colorless mana in the process. Horde of Notions then plays Jegantha straight out of your graveyard for free, ready to be tapped and sacrificed all over again. Meanwhile, Samut, Voice of Dissent stands ready on the board, offering passive haste to ensure your resurrected threats can act immediately if needed, while its untap ability can even help manipulate the board state alongside your other pieces.
