How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This loop hinges on Jegantha, the Wellspring generating the exact five-color mana requirement needed to activate Horde of Notions, which then pulls Jegantha right back out of the graveyard for free. To bridge the gap, Carrion Feeder serves as the necessary sacrifice outlet to send Jegantha back to the graveyard each iteration while growing larger with endless +1/+1 counters. Though Samut, Voice of Dissent isn't strictly necessary for the core loop to function, its presence in the deck contributes additional haste and untap utility while keeping the color identity cohesive.
