How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This loop turns Jegantha, the Wellspring into a self-sustaining sacrifice engine, tapping for the exact five-color mana cost demanded by Horde of Notions' ability to pull it right back out of the graveyard. Thermopod acts as both the grim altar that converts Jegantha into red mana and the sacrifice outlet that keeps the loop moving, while Samut, Voice of Dissent stands ready on the sidelines granting blanket haste so that returning elementals can immediately re-enter the fray without summoning sickness slowing them down. By cycling Jegantha back and forth between the graveyard and the battlefield, you effortlessly flood your pool with infinite red mana and trigger an endless cascade of enters-the-battlefield and death effects.
