How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns Jegantha, the Wellspring into a self-recycling engine, fueled entirely by its own tap ability. Because Jegantha taps for the exact five-color mana requirement needed to activate Horde of Notions, you can repeatedly pull Jegantha straight back out of the graveyard onto the battlefield without ever paying its mana cost. Meanwhile, Bartolomé del Presidio acts as the sacrificial outlet that sends Jegantha back to the graveyard to feed the Horde, while also growing bigger every time thanks to its own sacrifice ability.
