How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This loop uses Jegantha, the Wellspring as both its own fuel and its own recursion target, leveraging Horde of Notions to continually pull it back from the graveyard for the exact cost of {W}{U}{B}{R}{G}. Because Jegantha's tap ability produces precisely that colored mana—and crucially cannot be spent on generic costs—it is uniquely suited to pay for Horde of Notions' ability without leaving stranded color-pie fragments. Meanwhile, Phantom Train acts as the necessary sacrifice outlet to bin Jegantha and simultaneously grows its own stats with +1/+1 counters each iteration, while Rising of the Day ensures that the repeatedly recast Jegantha immediately gains haste to tap again without summoning sickness.
