How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This engine centers on Jegantha, the Wellspring as both the fuel and the recurring target, tapping for a colorful five-mana burst that sidesteps generic restrictions to pay for Horde of Notions' ability. By sacrificing Jegantha to Ashnod's Altar, you generate the two colorless mana needed to help fund that resurrection loop while feeding your death triggers. Horde of Notions then pulls Jegantha straight out of the graveyard and right back onto the battlefield for free, completing a closed circuit of continuous sacrifice and rebirth. Though Garna, the Bloodflame isn't strictly required to execute this specific core loop, having her in the 99 adds incredible synergy by granting your looping elementals haste and retrieving fallen comrades from the yard.
