How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This loop relies on Jegantha, the Wellspring generating the exact five-color mana symbol requirement needed to activate Horde of Notions, which immediately plucks Jegantha right back out of the graveyard to recast it without paying its mana cost. Ashnod's Altar is the engine that converts Jegantha into the two colorless mana required to fund the Horde's activation, while also neatly clearing the creature to feed the graveyard. Meanwhile, Tannuk, Steadfast Second ensures that Jegantha enters the battlefield with haste and is ready to tap again immediately, perfectly sustaining the cycle for infinite sacrifices, triggers, and colorless mana.
