How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Horde of Notions into a recurring engine for Jegantha, the Wellspring, completely bypassing the restriction that Jegantha's mana cannot pay generic costs by utilizing Horde's ability to play the Elemental from the graveyard for a flat five-color cost. Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler pulls double duty here, using its static ability to ensure Jegantha gains pseudo-haste so it can tap immediately upon returning, while its minus ability can even help set up the graveyard by retrieving low-mana pieces like Viscera Seer. Once Viscera Seer sacrifices Jegantha to trigger the scry loop, Horde of Notions is ready to pull Jegantha right back out, generating an endless cascade of sacrifices and death triggers.
