How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop uses Horde of Notions as the engine, leveraging its five-color ability to continuously pull Jegantha, the Wellspring right back out of the graveyard without paying its mana cost. Because Jegantha, the Wellspring taps to produce the exact five-color mana symbol requirement—{W}{U}{B}{R}{G}—to pay for Horde of Notions' activation, the loop is completely self-sustaining in terms of color requirements. Meanwhile, Carrion Feeder acts as the designated sacrifice outlet to send Jegantha, the Wellspring back to the graveyard while growing larger with every iteration, and Fires of Yavimaya grants the crucial haste that allows Jegantha, the Wellspring to tap for mana the very moment it re-enters the battlefield.
