How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Jegantha, the Wellspring into an endless, self-sustaining mana turbine by leaning on Horde of Notions to continually pull it right back out of the graveyard. Because Jegantha's tap ability yields the exact five-color mana requirement needed to activate Horde of Notions, and Phyrexian Altar neatly solves the problem of how to bin Jegantha while kicking back a color of mana to keep the engine going, the cycle repeats effortlessly. Meanwhile, Frostcliff Siege rounds out the battlefield, granting your creatures useful stat boosts and trample and haste, or drawing you extra cards whenever your board connects with an opponent.
