How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on a specific quirk of color restriction management: Jegantha, the Wellspring generates the exact five-color mana requirement—{W}{U}{B}{R}{G}—needed to fuel Horde of Notions' ability, bypassing the restriction that Jegantha's mana can't pay generic costs. Once Jegantha is sacrificed to Umbral Collar Zealot to filter your library with surveil, Horde of Notions pulls Jegantha right back out of the graveyard for free. Meanwhile, Tuktuk Rubblefort keeps the engine running smoothly by granting hasty returns, allowing Jegantha to tap for mana the very moment it re-enters the battlefield.
