How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Jegantha, the Wellspring generating the exact five-color mana requirement needed to activate Horde of Notions, which then plucks Jegantha right back out of the graveyard to reset the process. Since Umbral Collar Zealot is there to cheerfully sacrifice Jegantha to the graveyard while fueling your surveil triggers, the whole engine turns into a self-sustaining cycle. Meanwhile, Fervor ensures that Jegantha gains the haste it needs to tap for its mana ability immediately upon re-entering the battlefield, allowing you to repeat this color-matched sequence infinitely.
