How it works

1. Activate Jegantha by tapping it, adding that cannot be spent to pay generic mana costs.
2. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Jegantha.
3. Activate Horde of Notions by paying , causing you to cast Jegantha from your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Jegantha, the Wellspring tapping to generate the exact five-color mana restriction ({W}{U}{B}{R}{G}) needed to fuel Horde of Notions' activated ability without any leftover generic mana to worry about. Once Jegantha is sacrificed to Woe Strider's claw—which conveniently lets you scry 1 along the way—Horde of Notions immediately plucks Jegantha right back out of the graveyard for free. Thanks to Rising of the Day granting haste, Jegantha is ready to tap right back into the engine immediately, creating an infinite churning sacrifice loop.
