How it works

1. Cast Children of Korlis either from your hand by paying or from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
2. Activate Children of Korlis by sacrificing it.
3. When Children of Korlis dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Children of Korlis from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Children of Korlis ability, causing you to gain life equal to the life you've lost this turn.
5. Repeat.

This loop relies on Gwenom, Remorseless to turn the top of your library into a casting zone where Children of Korlis can be repeatedly deployed for free at the cost of your own life total, bypassing traditional mana constraints. Whenever Children of Korlis enters the battlefield and meets its inevitable demise through sacrifice, Mortuary immediately catches it on the way to the graveyard and cycles it right back to the top of your library. Finally, the sacrificed Children of Korlis can be activated to sacrifice itself and trigger its ability, restoring the life you just paid and leaving you with infinite life gains and death triggers.
