How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Forsaken Miner, adding .
2. When Forsaken Miner dies, Weatherlight Compleated triggers, putting a phyresis counter on it and causing you to draw a card.
3. Lyla triggers, targeting a creature an opponent controls.
4. Forsaken Miner triggers, causing you to pay to return Forsaken Miner from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Resolve the Lyla trigger.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop is fueled by Phyrexian Altar, which converts Forsaken Miner into the black mana needed to continually resurrect it. Every time the Miner hits the graveyard, Weatherlight Compleated triggers to advance its phyresis counters and eventually draw you a card, while Lyla, Holographic Assistant leverages those card draws to effortlessly target an opponent and commit crimes. That targeted crime allows Forsaken Miner to trigger its own revival ability right back to the battlefield, completing a self-sustaining cycle of sacrifices and triggers.
